The recently proposed tax bill threatens to open up America's public lands and waters to destructive fossil fuel extraction and development. This would undermine the nation's conservation efforts and jeopardize these natural treasures for future generations. Public lands belong to all citizens, not just the few who seek private profits. Protecting these precious resources should be a top priority for our elected representatives. I urge you to reject any measures that sacrifice public lands for the benefit of private interests and instead work to preserve our national parks, forests, and waters for all Americans to enjoy.
