Senator Collins, as approps chair, demand constitutional order

Congratulations on becoming head of the appropriations committee. Trump's illegal EOs impounding congressionally mandated spending have made that role meaningless. There is no question whatever about the illegality of the recent announcements of IG firing and halts to spending on federal aid. The question is not even close. As my elected representative I count on you to honor your oath to the constitution and ensure that the government runs according to the constitutionally instituted separation of powers. Also, remember, you are in Congress to serve us. Not to toady to a tyrant. Once again, let me congratulate you on your new role. Please reply in writing t to let me know whether you still intend to honor your oath and serve constituents. Please understand that silence is compliance. Trump has been issuing illegal orders since day 1. Do you intend to condone this illegality? Do you intend to allow corruption to get rampant? Vote no on Bondi, Patel, and RFK jr.
