Protect public lands as national heritage for all
3 so far! Let’s get to 5 signers!
The federal government holds public lands in trust for all Americans. Seizing these lands, as proposed by Idaho's Senate Joint Memorial 104, undermines this principle and prioritizes private interests over the shared national heritage. Such actions pave the way for dismantling protections on parks, monuments, and other conserved areas that belong to all citizens. I urge you to uphold the inviolable nature of federal public lands and reject any attempts to transfer management to states or private entities motivated by resource extraction or development. These natural treasures must be safeguarded for current and future generations to appreciate and enjoy.
