Congress appropriated funds for specific projects and to fulfill specific needs in this country. The administration is only authorized to carry out legislation as written by Congress. Congress did not authorize blocking funds to specific states or cities, and what is happening right now is a direct defiance of the legislative branch's explicit will.
Reclaim your Article I authority and ensure the will of Congress is carried out by this administration. Laws and funding must be applied equally to all Americans in all parts of the country. Every constituent deserves the same access to funds their tax dollars helped create, regardless of where they live or how their state voted.
Demand the administration release all withheld funds immediately and make clear that Congress will use every tool available to enforce compliance.
