*Critical: Urgent Aid for Ukraine and Defense Funding Needed* The urgency of providing aid to Ukraine and securing funding for the Department of Defense cannot be overstated. The House's decision to adjourn for the year without reaching a resolution on these critical issues is alarming. It is imperative that Congress remains in session until a comprehensive aid package for Ukraine, $63 Billion, is passed and signed. Additionally, the Department of Defense (DOD) requires stable funding to ensure national security. The pairing of this aid package with major border security policy changes should not delay these urgent matters. The GOP is endangering our national security by not funding the DOD and providing Ukrainians the support the need in concert with the agreements made in the Budapest Memo (signed when Ukraine agreed to give up their nuclear weapons). Why is congress, specifically the GOP members, willing to hand a victory to Russia? How this disfunction/stalemate going to help the US or national security? On the contrary it makes us Much less safe! Fund the US government starting with DOD and support our ally, Ukraine.
