Massachusetts residents deserve to know what their government is doing. H5469 would open state records and meetings to public inspection, and it's already cleared committee and passed the House. I'm asking you to get it across the finish line.
Right now too much of what happens in state government stays hidden from the people it affects. Public records and open meetings aren't a courtesy, they're how residents check whether their representatives are acting in their interest. This bill closes that gap.
Pass H5469. Massachusetts government should answer to the public it serves, not operate behind closed doors.
