Support the Scratch-Cooked Meals Act for Students

532 so far! Let’s get to 1,000 signers!

Today I’m writing in support of the Scratch Cooked Meals Act. I agree that kids deserve real food at school, not reheated processed meals that come out of a bag. This bill is a straightforward investment in student health, and I want to see it championed and passed. The evidence is clear: students who eat nutritious, whole-food meals concentrate better, miss fewer days, and perform stronger academically. Scratch cooking in school cafeterias also supports local farmers and food producers, putting money back into our communities instead of into the pockets of large food corporations. This is a win on every front. Please co-sponsor and actively push for passage of the Scratch Cooked Meals Act. Our kids spend a significant portion of their day at school, and what they eat there matters a lot. Let’s get this done, for kids sake. Thank you.
