Afghan Newcomers Need Serious Help

2 so far! Let’s get to 5 signers!

The Washington Post contains a story about Afghan refugees in the US who have been left adrift without adequate financial or social support. In most cases the United States owes these people a large debt of gratitude for their help to their help to the US on the past. Could we somehow have a federal ombudsman or refugee czar to coordinate help for these people and to run bureaucratic interference for them? The problems are myriad and complex and appear to require a high-level approach with adequate resources available. I would appreciate any action you could take to assist these needy and deserving newcomers to America.
