Charge Bondi with Contempt of Congress

722 so far! Let’s get to 1,000 signers!

Charge Bondi with Contempt of Congress Attorney General Pam Bondi’s blatant defiance of a lawful congressional subpoena requires action. Her failure to appear for the scheduled deposition on Tuesday 4/14 is an unacceptable evasion of accountability regarding the federal government’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. The Department of Justice’s claim that a subpoena "no longer applies" because an official has been terminated is a dangerous legal fallacy. No individual—regardless of their former title or political connections—is above the law. By refusing to testify about potential cover-ups and the withholding of critical documents from the public, Ms. Bondi is obstructing a bipartisan investigation into one of the most significant sex-trafficking scandals in our history. The American people deserve full transparency concerning the Epstein investigation and the Epstein Files Transparency Act. We cannot allow high-ranking officials to ignore the oversight powers of Congress with impunity. The House Oversight Committee must move forward with criminal contempt of Congress proceedings immediately. If we allow this subversion of the law to stand, it will permanently undermine the constitutional authority of our legislative branch. Justice for Epstein’s victims requires the truth. Charge Pam Bondi with contempt now.
