An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Our drug prices are too high! Stop Pharmacy Benefit Manager price gouging!

I’m writing because I’m angry about Pharmacy Benefit Manager price gouging. Our drug prices are too high and this practice is part of the reason why! Pharmacy Benefit Manager price gouging involves Pharmacy Benefit Managers using kickbacks and rebates to push certain drugs because they make more money from them. When oil companies did this we enacted antitrust legislation to protect the public. Until we enact Universal Healthcare—which we should—and please support S. 1655 / HR 3421—I’d like you to fight to pass S. 1339, the Pharmacy Benefit Manager Transparency Act. Thank you.
