Stopping USAID is dumb and dangerous. And illegal. Have you forgotten the impoundment act of 1974? Have you forgotten the USAID creates a crucial market for Farmers who sell produce which is shipped abroad? Do you know that produce is now rotting in warehouses? Do you know what happens when a person being treated for tuberculosis with months long course of antibiotics has their treatment interrupted? No? Well the tuberculosis is more likely to mutate into a treatment resistant strain. That can affect the whole world. Illegally impounding spending approved to USAID is ILLEGAL and it harms peoples lives across the world starting with American farmers who may be your constituents. It can cause death and suffering. And it's part of the ongoing illegal coup. We did not elect Elon musk. If you are going to let Congress be neutered and its constitutional power be stolen by an unelected digital domestic terrorism you might as well resign now
