Pass HR9675 to Fund State Opioid Treatment Grants
177 so far! Let’s get to 250 signers!
Vote yes on HR9675. This bill lets the Assistant Secretary for Mental Health and Substance Use award grants directly to states to expand access to clinically appropriate treatment for opioid abuse, dependence, and addiction. That funding goes straight at the real bottleneck: not enough treatment capacity where people actually live. Every month a state waits on this funding is a month someone can't get into treatment when they're ready for it. HR9675 gives states federal backing to build out that capacity instead of stretching existing budgets thinner. This is straightforward policy that funds states already doing the work, it doesn't dictate how they do it. Bring HR9675 to a vote and pass it.
