William Webster, the only person to have served as both the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Director of Central Intelligence (CIA), has recently written to all senators, expressing his concerns about the unfitness of Kash Patel and Tulsi Gabbard to lead the FBI and CIA. As members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, I trust that you take national security matters seriously and have learned from the ethics report on Matt Gaetz. In light of these concerns, I urge you to vote against Gabbard and Patel. We must not normalize scoundrel nominees who pose a threat to our national security.
