The law establishing the Kennedy Center is clear. The courts, including the Supreme Court, have spoken. No name other than John F. Kennedy belongs on that building. Period. Congress created this institution in 1964 to honor President Kennedy's legacy, and Congress has both the authority and the obligation to defend it now. This isn't just about a name on a building. Trump is diverting federal funds to remodel Washington, D.C. into a monument to himself, and the Kennedy Center is just one example. Every dollar spent on these vanity projects is a dollar not going to the arts, to education, or to the American people. You have the power to block any unauthorized use of federal funds for Trump's self-serving rebranding and other projects. Do it now, before more damage is done.
