The FDA abruptly canceled its upcoming advisory committee meeting to select the strains for next year's flu shot. There's a 6 month production cycle so now is the time that strains need to be selected. Flu is dangerous; the virus mutates regularly. Herd immunity from a high vaccination rate protects us all. Younger adults with strong immune systems got decimated in the 1918 influenza pandemic. Their strong immune responses resulted in pneumonia. Influenza doesn't mess around. The senate approved RFK jr against the advice of thousands of medical professionals. And now in his lie about the Texas measles outbreak (that it's a regular occurrence) and this we the people see the contempt of our senators for our health and our very lives. Please: arrange for RFK jr to be subpoenaed by the appropriate committees to answer questions under oath. Please pass a bill in Congress to select and order flu vaccine. Consider impeaching RFK jr for dereliction. We the people employ you. You should be honored to serve us and you should honor your oath to the constitution. For the gop senate to have imposed a dangerous charlatan such as RFK jr on the FDA looks like depraved heart murder. It shows utmost contempt for our lives. Learn the lesson. Do better. Do not confirm the next unqualified nominee.
