Support the Discharge Petition to Fund DHS While Defunding ICE and CBP

I expect you to support the discharge petition House Democrats are filing to fund TSA, FEMA, and other DHS agencies while withholding funding from ICE, CBP, and the Secretary's office until Congress enacts major reforms. We need these agencies funded and we need ICE reformed. I insist on it. ICE and CBP are not arresting criminals. They are detaining workers, children, and people trying to become citizens the right way based on what they look like and the language they speak. In Oregon, officers pulled over a van of farm workers solely because they spoke Spanish. They smashed windows and detained all seven workers. One woman had entered legally with a valid visa but officers arrested her anyway, drove her to Washington state, then released her without explanation. The judge ruled ICE showed "little regard for conducting lawful arrests." Twelve people have died in ICE custody in 2025 alone. An Afghan man who assisted our military during the war died after just 24 hours detained. Children are suffering at Dilley. Legal residents like Juanita Avila are being tackled to the ground despite carrying green cards. Vote to defund ICE operations until Congress enacts the comprehensive reforms Democrats have proposed. These abuses must stop now.
