America's national parks and national monuments are a precious legacy that we hold in trust for future generations. A sustainable environment inside and outside national parks is good for health and the economy.
Clean, safe, water and unpolluted air should be a priority. But already Scotus has stripped back anti water pollution regulations.
I'm writing to ask you NOT TO pass any legislation that would repeal Inflation Reduction Act's climate and clean energy programs.
These programs are popular in red, blue, and purple states. They have brought benefits to all: jobs and economic growth --especially to red states. So they are now supported by Republican as well as Democratic representatives.
Over the last three years, Biden’s historic clean energy investments have created new jobs, grown local economies, reduced pollution, and saved everyday Americans money on energy bills.
Please keep those programs in place. Do not do the bidding of corporate polluters and profiteers. You work for us.
