FAA chaos endangers lives: Do oversight. Stop the firings & cuts. Musk out.
I am appalled at the sudden degradation of the FAA's capacity, and appalled at the degradation of air travel safety since Trump took office. Reducing the workforce by firing was unconscionable. The results were immediately visible in the unprecedented number of incidents.
Now I read:
"[with] the second-round resignation offer, the FAA is losing not only its chief air traffic officer but its associate administrator for commercial space, his deputy, the director of the audit and evaluation office, the assistant administrator for civil rights and the assistant administrator for finance and management, The Post reported. The Air Traffic Organization, which is responsible for the safety of U.S. airspace as the operational arm of the FAA, is losing the vice presidents and deputy vice presidents of five major programs including mission support, and safety and technical training."
How is this safe, for a critical expert agency to lose so many experienced expert personnel at once?
How is this okay?

Do oversight.
Make referrals.
Use all the tools at your disposal.
Get Musk, DOGE, and Starlink out.
Take back your role. Impeach Sean Duffy.
DO NOT let air traffic control go into ruin and then claim that the inky solution is privatisation.
