I urge you to vote YES on HR 8296 and HR 8297, the Women'sr Health Protection Act. Please show your support for women's health and women's freedom and support this bill, which ensures women's right to make their own medical decisions without the interference of any government entity. No person should have to fear arrest or jail time because they sought medical advice or treatment.
Regardless of how you feel about specific medical procedures, I expect you to support: 18 months of paid leave for parents, 5 years of pre-kindergarten child care for all, expanded Medicare so anyone can afford to see a doctor or bring their child to a doctor, expanded food assistance programs, expanded housing assist programs and huge funding for a campaign to get the 400.000 kids in foster care adopted into permanent loving homes. In order to be in favor of more births you must also be in favor of supporting the children who will be born to parents who cannot afford to travel to other states or countries to get an abortion.
