(R.Kagan, Washington Post 9/23/21) Making Election Day a federal holiday and banning partisan gerrymandering are essential for protecting our democracy. We will lose it if you don't use your power as a majority to reform the filibuster so laws can be passed with a simple majority. Filibusters should require 41 votes to go forward and senators have to debate the topic continuously (no green eggs and ham) if they want to stop a vote. There is No more time to waste!
