Support HB2708 to Cover Epinephrine Injectors
Pass HB2708 and require insurance plans to cover epinephrine delivery systems. Anaphylaxis kills fast, and the only thing that stops it is an epinephrine shot within minutes. Families with kids who have severe allergies shouldn't have to gamble on whether they can afford the device that keeps them alive. Epinephrine injectors have to be replaced every year whether they're used or not, and that cost falls hardest on parents, school nurses, and anyone managing a chronic allergy. This bill puts coverage requirements on the Insurance Department so plans actually pay for a device that's genuinely life-saving, not optional. Pennsylvania shouldn't be a state where a treatable allergic reaction turns fatal because someone couldn't afford their injector. Vote yes on HB2708 and get this to the floor.
