Honor Ukraine security assurances, stop Russian aggression

73 so far! Let’s get to 100 signers!

This is an urgent call to honor the 1994 Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances in connection with Ukraine's accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. By this binding agreement, the Russian Federation, United Kingdom, and United States solemnly pledged to respect Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity after it voluntarily relinquished its nuclear arsenal. Ukraine upheld its commitment, yet its borders have been gravely violated through military aggression and illegal occupation of its territories. The United States must keep its agreement. Russia must be made to keep its agreement. I expect integrity from our leadership.
