The US administration and Congress must stand united with Europe in upholding democratic values and sovereignty against Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Putin's rejection of ceasefires and insistence on unacceptable demands demonstrate he is not serious about peace. Giving in would only embolden further aggression and threaten international security. Maintain resolute pressure through coordinated sanctions and military aid until Russia implements a full ceasefire and withdraws forces from all occupied territories. Backtracking now would undermine principles of self-determination and the rules-based order. Steadfast US support for European allies and Ukraine is imperative to defending these principles against external coercion and conquest.
