Lift the hiring freeze!

I am a constituent and upset that the hiring freeze is continuing and that thousands of employees have been fired without cause. Our national lands will need seasonal employees to handle the summer tourist season. Tahoe, for example, will be a disaster without them. Federal firefighting forces need to be fully staffed and paid on par with CalFire, at minimum, to keep our rural communities safe and preserve our forest lands. You have always campaigned for more firefighting capabilities, why aren’t you speaking up for this now? The same can be said for other agencies and departments, they need to be fully staffed to keep the government running efficiently cutting randomly is not efficient nor effective and will cost us all more in the long run. Please do your congressional duty and write legislation, don’t delegate the responsibility to an unelected billionaire and his cronies. Thanks
