Support Price Gouging Prevention Act to protect consumers

The Price Gouging Prevention Act of 2025 seeks to prohibit excessive price increases by enforcing reasonable pricing during market shocks and supply chain disruptions. It empowers the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general to pursue cases against companies that raise consumer prices excessively. Codifying what constitutes an unconscionably excessive price will help deter profiteering and safeguard consumers from egregious price gouging. This legislative measure promotes fair pricing practices and prevents corporations from exploiting crises or disruptions for unbridled profit maximization at the public's expense. Please pass this legislation.
