No vaccine rollbacks, No to RFK jr, speak out

NO vaccine rollbacks, NO to RFK jr. Speak out! I am appalled by the notions of RFK Jr and especially the rumours that he will seek to have the polio vaccine declared unsafe. I ask you to vote against his nomination and to speak publicly showing some courage, leadership, and concern for the lives of all Americans. Childhood vaccines are one of the greatest achievements advancing human well-being in the 20th century. I am sure you are informed about herd immunity and the importance of maintaining a high uptake of vaccines to protect everyone. Do not remain silent on the sidelines. Anyone in public life who sets out to erode confidence in vaccines will damage lives, well-being and health. (I hope I do not need to remind you about the effects of polio, measles, mumps?) I expect my electeds to lead by speaking out as well as their votes. I am counting on you to do so. Please reply in writing to assure me that you will not treat RFK jr as a normal nominee, that you will vote against him, and use your influence and platform to support science based public health policy.
