An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Do not allow cuts to Medicare to fund tax cuts for the wealthy.

161 so far! Let’s get to 250 signers!

The Republican House budget resolutions propose potential cuts of up to $880 billion to Medicaid funding over the next decade, which would drastically reduce access to health care for millions of low-income Americans. These draconian cuts threaten to undermine the ability of states to provide essential medical services and long-term care to our most vulnerable populations, including children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. I urge you to reject any legislation that slashes Medicaid funding and protect this vital safety net program that promotes health, economic security, and human dignity for all.
