Condemn Mike Lee's tweets. Silence is compliance. Show some decency.

Find your decency. Censure Mike Lee. I was shocked, grief stricken, and outraged by the political assassinations in Minnesota. The flippant partisan public posts by members of the GOP added to that horror and outrage. I see that the Senate GOP shows blatant disregard for human life by allowing budget provisions that will cause individual representatives' own constituents to die preventable deaths because they will lose Medicaid and Medicare. To prioritise tax cuts for the billionaires over the very survival of those you serve is reprehensible. I now see that this contempt for life and decency extends to political violence. Do you want historians to characterise you as the death-causing party? Mike Lee's tweets were beyond the standards appropriate for anyone, least of all one elected to serve. Silence is compliance. Until the senate condemns this partisan hatemongering irresponsible language, you are all complicit. In your complicity, you degrade the senate and you endanger our safety and our civic community. Please: Speak out. Introduce a resolution to censure. Please reply in writing to let me know whether you have taken any action.
