Losing FEMA Would Be A Disaster, Protect Emergency Relief

Your office must act to save the Federal Emergency Management Agency from Trump’s chainsaw. We need to prevent FEMA from being eliminated and make the White House stop keeping disaster aid from people who need it. We are seeing more and more natural disasters with massive recovery bills, costing us billions of dollars. State and local governments just can’t afford to deal with that kind of emergency without FEMA - we are seeing right now in Central Texas how irreplaceable this support is. Trump calls these cuts "efficiency," but what they mean is we’re abandoning Americans in their darkest hours - so they can give billionaires a bigger tax cut and deport more hairdressers without due process. The White House has actively interfered with disaster relief in multiple states. Next time, it might be us. Step up and keep FEMA working for us.
