Maintain NASA's scientific leadership through robust funding

35 so far! Let’s get to 50 signers!

Cutting NASA's science budget nearly in half would gravely undermine America's leadership in space exploration and scientific discovery. Terminating productive missions like the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, which is nearly ready for launch, represents a colossal waste of billions in taxpayer dollars already invested. Crippling NASA's planetary, Earth, and astrophysics programs will stifle innovation, cause brain drain of top talent, and cede ground to other nations in an arena where American primacy has inspired the world. Rather than sabotaging NASA's invaluable work advancing human knowledge and technology frontiers, we should fully fund its science portfolio as a worthy investment in our future prosperity and security. Robust funding for NASA underpins our continued global competitiveness across domains, drives economic growth through spin-off technologies, and inspires the next generation of scientists and engineers. Slashing budgets so severely is incredibly short-sighted and detrimental to American interests. I urge you to champion full funding for NASA's vital science missions and pioneering research initiatives critical to maintaining our nation's preeminence in space.
