Capitol Mob Cases
Today I take pen in hand to write about the stark inequities between a court decision on a pipeline case and the actual terrorists that stormed the US Capitol intent on harm and to overturn a free and fair election. Jessica Reznicek pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to damage the Dakota Access Pipeline. However, Federal Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger added a domestic terrorism enhancement to Rezniceks' case. Yet I don't see those domestic terrorism enhancements being handed out in the hundreds of people charged in the attack on the Capitol and Congress. If the domestic terrorists that intended real harm are not prosecuted as such, I have a real problem with the way Jessica Rezniceks case was handled. She has to serve 8 years plus probation and 3-million in restitution to the pipeline company. Where is that being applied to the mob that attacked the Capitol. They owe all of us restitution. See the problem yet? Thank you for your attention to this matter.
