Leadership should prioritize investments that directly improve the lives of everyday citizens, such as expanding affordable housing programs, rental assistance, and initiatives to alleviate the high costs of living. Extravagant additions to the White House complex fail to serve the interests of the people and only further the disconnect between the ruling class and the harsh realities faced by working families nationwide. Halt this misguided endeavor and redirect resources toward substantive policies that uplift our most vulnerable communities and create equitable opportunities for all.
