Congress, make student debt cancellation a top legislative priority!

I am extremely angry and disappointed that President Biden’s much-needed student debt relief has been blocked by the courts. Now more than ever, we need Congress to act to secure student debt relief for the millions of borrowers burdened by the increasingly unpayable student debt crisis. Student loan debt has strayed away from being a form of investment needed to ensure higher wages and has become an immovable hurdle in the lives of millions. This makes the legal challenges blocking President Biden's student debt relief deeply disappointing. As my representative, I am calling on you to ensure borrowers see student debt relief and to make student debt cancellation a top legislative priority, leaving room for no courts to legally challenge or block it.
