The potential privatization and integration of artificial intelligence into air traffic control systems raises significant safety concerns that should not be overlooked. Air travel involves countless lives, and any oversight or technical failure could result in catastrophic consequences. While innovation is valuable, the priority must be the wellbeing and security of passengers and crew members. Entrusting such a critical public infrastructure to a private entity driven by profitability over safety is an unacceptable risk. I urge you to reject any proposals to privatize or incorporate unproven AI technologies into air traffic control operations until rigorous, independent testing can definitively demonstrate their ability to uphold the highest safety standards without compromise.
