By expediting land sales without requirements to reinvest proceeds into conservation nor requiring comprehensive review, this measure compromises outdoor recreation access, vital ecosystems, and our shared natural heritage in exchange to pay for the cost of cutting taxes for billionaires. Public lands must remain in public hands, protected through responsible, inclusive management that respects the will of the people.
